My Story
There is a passion in me that stems from my own pain. I am not afraid to admit that the pain others have caused me growing up, have truly molded me into who I am today. I love hard, which is why my compassion for others is unmeasurable. While this is not about me, it truly does explain why now, at 18 yrs old I continue to want to spread kindness and hope to children and teens.
The beauty of social media
Like every teen in the world, I browse the FYP on TikTok. Like many of us, I come across funny videos, viral videos, dance videos etc. A few months ago, I came across a video that touched my heart deeply. One video, compelled me to visit the page and watch every video the page posted. Paul, is the receiver of the donations that arrive at the Light for kids ministries, in Uganda. I visited the orphanages IG, every post truly touched my heart. I sent a message offering to help the children with a donation. I was greeted with kindness and joy.
In the photo on this page, you will see some of the children holding a box. The box contained donations sent to them on behalf of the PenelopeB Foundation Inc. With the help of a few and my own personal funds, I was able to shop at Children's place. I packed over 50 underpants, and 50 top/shorts sets and at least 20 dresses and undershirts. No child was left without a personal bag for them. Visit soon for a fun video!
